Which airport should I fly to?
El Salvador’s international airport is Oscar Arnulfo Romero y Galdámez Airport (SAL).
How can I get from the airport to the city?
As well as local taxi services and Ubers, you can also rent a car. We recommend, however, arranging an airport transfer directly with your hotel – you can ask if it offers this service ahead of your arrival.
Do I need travel and health insurance?
We encourage attendees to book travel and health insurance prior to departing for El Salvador.
Where can I stay?
There are many hotels in San Salvador. We have hand selected a list of recommended 4* and 5* hotels here.
What about in-country transport and airport transfers?
We suggest booking transport directly with your hotel. In addition, taxis and Uber are also available at the airport and within San Salvador.
What do I need to enter El Salvador?
Visitors from most European and American countries, as well as Australia, will not need a travel visa, but will have to purchase a travel card upon arrival. This will cost approximately US $10, and will need to be paid in cash.
