SOURCING TRIP EXPERIENCE
Created specifically for coffee roasters and green buyers wishing to visit Honduras, the Sourcing Trip Experience (STE) ticket includes a four-day journey to the country’s coffee-growing regions, followed by the PRF Mexico 2027 forum in Tuxtla, Chiapas.
During the STE, coffee roasters and buyers from around the world will have the unique opportunity to gain a direct and immersive insight into coffee production in Mexico. They’ll stay with local hosts on coffee farms throughout El Salvador, forming groups of up to 15 guests.
Host producers will be confirmed approximately 1 month before the STE.
After the STE, participants will head to Tuxtla Gutierrez for the two-day PRF Mexico 2027 experience at Centro de Convenciones y Polyforum Chiapas.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
During the STE, attendees will spend time with producers, exporters, and other coffee professionals. They will participate in deep, meaningful, and sometimes challenging discussions. This is the best way to build a long-term, mutually beneficial sourcing relationship through which attendees can buy coffee for years.
The STE is also perfect for buyers looking to source a range of coffees. This might mean looking for an experimental micro lot for the next Brewers Cup or a reliable new base coffee for your espresso blend.
The STE is also focused on building partnerships. This might mean finding an exporter who can pre-finance the shipment and handle logistics, discussing how to consolidate a container with other roasters, or buying coffee FOB.
Ultimately, the STE provides you with direct access to the people responsible for growing, selling, and exporting these.
Attendees will be given a first-hand opportunity to learn everything about the coffees and producers their hosts work with.
This will range from plant nurseries, variety selection, and farm management to processing techniques, experiments with fermentation, quality control protocols, storage, warehousing, and more.
As part of the experience, you’ll also meet some of Colombia’s leading coffee producers, including renowned producers spearheading innovation in the country’s specialty coffee sector.
Ultimately, this is a chance to meet producers from whom you will buy coffee for years. It is also an opportunity to see first-hand how their coffee is grown, harvested, and processed.

Please note that the STE ticket does not include internal flights or accommodation for the nights of March 17, 18, and 19. It does not cover any expenses after attendees return to Tuxtla, Chiapas for the PRF.
